Who’s Eligible?
This competition is open to Australian businesses that spend $30,000 (including GST) or less per annum on energy (identified by their Australian Business Number (ABN)) operating within New South Wales (NSW), Victoria (VIC), South Australia (SA), Queensland (QLD). Australian businesses operating within Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Western Australia (WA), Northern Territory (NT), and Tasmania (TAS) are excluded from the promotion. Employees of Zembl, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition are excluded from participating.
How to Enter
- The entrant must be a business with an ABN and;
- Must complete an obligation-free energy bill comparison and switch to an alternative energy plan with Zembl during the specified promotion period date and time range.
- The entrant must remain with the new energy plan provider until the date of draw to qualify.
Prize: There will be 2 unique winners chosen. Each winner will receive a prize of a payment up to a maximum value of A$5,000 (including GST) towards their electricity account. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

- Entries: Each entrant will be entitled to a maximum of one entry.
- Confirmation of eligibility: Entrants into the competition warrant that they meet the entry eligibility requirements, and the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. The winning entrant may be asked to provide proof of their previous year’s annual energy costs.
- Competition period: The promotion period begins at 12:01 AM AEST on 3 November 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM AEST on 30 January 2026. Entries received after that time will not be considered.
- How to enter:
- For new and existing customers –
- the entrant must be a business with an ABN and;
- must complete an obligation-free energy bill comparison and;
- switch to an alternative energy plan with Zembl during the specified promotion period date and time range.
- the entrant must remain with the new energy plan provider until the date of draw to qualify.
- For referring Zembl customers –
- the referrer and referral must be a business with an ABN and;
- the existing Zembl customer must refer a new customer through the Zembl Referral Program (Zembassador) and;
- The referred customer must complete an obligation-free energy bill comparison and;
- switch to an alternative energy plan with Zembl during the specified promotion period date and time range, at which point, both the new referred customer and the existing Zembl customer, will be entered into the draw.
- the referral must remain with the alternative energy plan provider till the date of draw for both the referrer and referral to qualify.
- For new and existing customers –
- Exclusions: Individuals (including those under 18 years of age) are not entitled to participate in this competition. Operators/managers of embedded networks are not entitled to participate in this promotion.
- Improper conduct: Zembl reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the right to disqualify any entrant which has undertaken any improper conduct or tampered with the entry process or participated in this competition in a manner which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- Prize: There will be 2 unique winners chosen. Each winner will receive a prize of a payment up to a maximum value of A$5,000 (including GST) towards their electricity account. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
- Payment: Zembl will pay A $5,000 (including GST) to the credit of each of the winner’s energy accounts with their respective energy retailer, to take effect from 27 March 2026.
- Winner selection: The winner will be chosen at 347 Kent St, Sydney, NSW 2000 at 10:00am on 17 February 2026 by random draw from all eligible entries received. Zembl’s decision regarding the draw, determination of the winner and the conduct of the competition is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Winner notification: The winner will be notified via email and telephone within 7 days of the draw date. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of being first notified, a further random draw will take place at 347 Kent St, Sydney, NSW 2000 at 10:00am on 3 March 2026. The re-draw winner will be notified via email and telephone within 7 days of the re-draw.
- Winner announcement and publicity: Entrants acknowledge and agree that Zembl will publicly announce and use the winner’s name in promotional material and general publicity. The winner’s last name, first initial and postcode will be published on the competition web page within 30 days of the drawing (or any re-drawing). The winner consents to Zembl using their name, suburb, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) for publicity purposes without any remuneration.
- Limitation of liability: Insofar as is permitted by law, Zembl, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any direct or indirect loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the gross negligence of Zembl, its agents or distributors or that of their employees
- General: By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating its agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions, and Zembl’s Privacy Policy. Entrants consent to Zembl disclosing information, if required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Zembl may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by an entrant, use the information for personal marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes, including sending email to, or telephoning, entrants. - Cancellation: IIf for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond Zembl’s control, Zembl may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
- Jurisdiction: The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of NSW and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
